On October 27, 2016 at approximately 19:32, BMFC was dispatched for an accident with injuries during a rain storm on the Blue Route/476. Enroute the call was upgraded to a vehicle rescue by on scene personnel from 313. Upon arrival a van was found ~75 feet down the embankment into the woods straddling a drainage ditch. The vehicle was barely visible from the road. The drive was a disabled man who was unable to remove himself. Crews worked to stabilize the vehicle and then carefully removed the driver. He was then carried back up to the road where he was handed off to 313 personnel for care. Crews were back in service shortly thereafter.

Units: SQ23, 313, Station 39 and Delco Station 15

Thank You Gentleman for your service. I can only imagine what the Man you rescued must of went thru before you arrived on the scene. Then the gratitude he felt during and after your rescue.
Thank You again.
