Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.

Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No Caption Busy day of vehicle rescue work

January 13th was a busy day for vehicle rescue work. It ended with a one care accident at the intersection of Meadows Edge Lane and Old Gulph Road. The vehicle was found upside down, off the roadway and having struck a tree and stone wall. One occupant required extrication. Station 23's Facade Gets New Lettering

The front of Station 23 got a little face lift this month. Kevin Monaghan and his crew from Montrose Memorials did a great job cleaning the front of station and repainting the Bryn Mawr Fire Company stone work. No Caption Car Fire on the Blue Route

At approximately 21:00 hours on October 20th, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to mile marker 14.6 NB on Interstate 476 for a car fire. Squad 23 was the first to arrive with the engine compartment of an SUV well involved and in the right shoulder on the southbound side. Derecho Storm Brings High Winds and Lots of Calls

Just after noon on Wednesday, June 3rd a fast moving storm, called a Derecho, ripped through the area with winds in excess of 80 mph and heavy rainfall. In just a short period of time a tremendous amount of damage occurred including downed trees and wire, trees into houses and then a number of CO calls involving generators.
