Welcome to the Official Website for the Bryn Mawr Fire Company


Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.

Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regular Drill - Saws

Last night 19 members took part in a drill which consisted of chain saw and circular saw practice. We were able to use trees that are in the process of being removed from a property to practice our skills, technique, and for newer members to get comfortable with all of our saws.

Members from the Bryn Mawr Fire Company, the Gladwyne Fire Company, Merion Fire Company of Ardmore, the Belmont Hills Fire Company, and Radnor Fire Company all participated in the Montgomery County Fire Academy FF1 class; Fire Ground Support. House Fire in Villanova

At approximately 2:25am on January 20th, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched for a Fire Alarm at 843 Mt. Moro Road in the Villanova section of Lower Merion Township. The call was quickly upgraded to a Building Fire after reports of smoke in the building. Upon arrival a smoke condition was found in the area of the garage and gym. No Caption Project: Camp Out For Hunger

In cooperation with all of the Lower Merion fire companies, Narberth Ambulance and Lower Merion Police Department, Bryn Mawr Fire Company collected non-perishable food donations and delivered them to the WMMR Camp Out For Hunger at Xfinity Live. Fire Alarm Turned CO Call Assist in Ardmore

At approximately 15:40 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to 9 Cricket Terrace in the Lower Merion section of Ardmore with an engine to assist Station 25 on a CO call. Merion Fire Company had been dispatched for a fire alarm and quickly learned that they had a serious CO problem originating from an electrical issue with the underground equipment out front.
