Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 120 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 6 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.
Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Billy Gallagher, one of only the 10 chiefs in our over 120 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Congratulations On Your Retirement Chief Kincade

We are honored to congratulate Chief Danny Kincade on his retirement aafter 16 years as the Chief of Bryn Mawr Fire Company. Danny has served the company for over 50 years as a firefighter, line officer and is now on the Board of Directors. Congratulations FF Doug Watkins on a Job Well Done

At a recent township ceremony, Bryn Mawr's own Engineer Doug Watkins was honored for his recent actions helping a choking victim who had arrived at the firehouse. Doug's quick assessment of the situation and response allowed him to provide life saving aid to the victim. We are proud to have Doug on our team and congratulate him on recognition well deserved.... House Fire on Woodleave Road

Just after 14:40 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to the 600 block of Woodleave Road for a reported garage fire. First arriving units reported smoke from the area of the garage. A quick attack on the garage coordinated with an interior crew found the fire had spread to the second floor and attic areas. North Stone Ridge Lane Fire

Tuesday about 1 AM the tones dropped for a house fire on StoneRidge Lane. The building fire assignment went off. Ladder 23 went responding with a crew of 4 deputy and chief 23 were on radio.
