Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.
Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 2023 Continues To Be Busy

2023 continues to be a busy year. The last thirty days have continued the trend with multiple house fire assists and a tricky vehicle extrication. Bryn Mawr assisted on working house fires in Narberth and Penn Valley providing services for fire attack, overhaul and ventilation. At approximately 17:45 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to the I76 EB ramp to I476 SB for an accident with injuries involving a rollover. Upon arrival Squad 23 provided lane blocking for EMS and PSP until the tow truck was able to clear the involved vehicle. 2022 Ended at a Feverish Pace

With over 675 calls in 2022, the end of the year was one to remember. In the closing weeks of the year members of Bryn Mawr Fire Company operated at multiple working fires, responded to storm related calls in single digit weather including burst pipes, electrical fires, CO emergencies and finished the month with 81 calls.
