Welcome to the Official Website for the Bryn Mawr Fire Company

 

Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.


Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Vehicle Rescue - Montgomery Avenue

Just after 0930 this morning, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to the area of 1400 W. Montgomery Avenue for a Vehicle Rescue. First arriving units reported a multi-vehicle accident with one vehicle off the roadway and down an embankment. This vehicle was laying on its side, down the resting up against several trees. The members of Bryn Mawr Fire Company were proud to welcome home FFs Alex Fischer and Sam Shaeffer. Both firefighters were seriuosly injured during a call on the Schuylkill Expressway in the early hours of Saturday morning. Tragedy Strikes Twice in Lower Merion

For the second time in the month of July, Lower Merion firefighters have suffered the tragedy of losing one of their own in the line of duty.

Working Fire Assist to Ardmore

At approximately 18:38, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to assist Ardmore Fire Company on a building fire in the 200 block of Cheswold Hill Road. While enroute, the call was upgraded to a working fire with fire in the attic of the house.
