January 13th was a busy day for vehicle rescue work. It ended with a one care accident at the intersection of Meadows Edge Lane and Old Gulph Road. The vehicle was found upside down, off the roadway and having struck a tree and stone wall. One occupant required extrication. Crews from Bryn Mawr worked quickly to free the occupant and were assisted by crews from Penn Wynne and Belmont Hills fire companies. The occupant was then transported to the hospital by Narberth Ambulance. Earlier in the day Bryn Mawr responded to a two car accident at Old Buck Lane and Lancaster Avenue where more minor services were required. Mixed into that busy day was also a call for a reported car fire.
