Just after 17:30 on Sunday evening, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to the 600 block of Winsford Road for a Fire Investigation with an original report of something burning outside. Within the first few minutes the call was upgraded to a building fire as smoke became visible and ultimately to a working attic fire. Crews from Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne Fire Companies deployed an attack line and established a street line. The quick attack kept the fire contained to a small area of the attic. Crews worked to overhaul the room below and vent the roof. All companies from the scene and covers were back in service just after 19:30 hours.
