Tonight our firefighters attended the first of a two night Hazmat Ops Refresher class at Station 25 along with other fire companies in Lower Merion Township. One of the stations reviewed the use of hazmat suits and how to properly don and remove the suits safely. As incidents involve more and more complex materials and situations, interacting with the local Hazmat and US&R teams is important for our members. See you next week.
