At approximately 2:25am on January 20th, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched for a Fire Alarm at 843 Mt. Moro Road in the Villanova section of Lower Merion Township. The call was quickly upgraded to a Building Fire after reports of smoke in the building. Upon arrival a smoke condition was found in the area of the garage and gym. Crews quickly assessed the situation and found active fire in the attic space above. Crews extinguished the fire and performed overhaul to minimize the spread of the fire to other parts of the house.
