Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 600 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.
Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Mansion Fire in Villanova

- On April 4th, 2012 at 14:45 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to 200 S. Ithan Avenue. This working fire was battled by the members of Bryn Mawr Fire Company as well as many of the surrounding mutual aid companies. The approximately 22,000 square foot mansion posed quite a challenge and took several hours to bring under control. Crews worked into the night extinguishing hot spots and doing overhaul. ... Trench Rescue at Bryn Mawr Construction Site

- On January 5th, 2012 at 11:51 Bryn Mawr was requested to assist Narberth Ambulance at 733 W. Lancaster Avenue in the Lower Merion section of Bryn Mawr for a report of an injured man in a construction pit. Upon arrival it was confirmed that a man was in the construction pit and his leg had been injured by a shifting concrete vault. Crews from stations 23 and 21 worked together to free the injured ... - On Monday, January 2nd at 21:28 hours Bryn Mawr was dispatched for a house fire in the 700 block of Harriton Road in Lower Merion. Report of a bedroom fire with smoke and flames showing warranted an upgrade calling for Gladwyne Fire Company as well. The Brotherhood Ride to the World Trade Center Visits BMFC

- On Friday, September 9th, the 4th Annual Brotherhood Ride visited Bryn Mawr Fire Company as one of its stops on the way to the World Trade Center. Director Mark Coridvari's brother was part of the ride and helped make BMFC one of the stops on their ride from Naples, Florida to New York.
