Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 600 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.
Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. House Fire With Entrapment
MAY 17
- At approximately 2000hrs on Friday May 17th. Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to a dwelling fire on the 700 block of Miller St. Radnor Township. On dispatch Station 23 immediately requested Delco Station 15 on the assist. While Ladder 23 was enroute, county dispatch notified ladder 23, that Radnor PD was on scene with heavy smoke showing. Accident with Injuries on Interstate 95 during Bryn Mawr Coverup at Boothwyn
MARCH 02
- During a coverup at Boothwyn Fire Company, Squad 23 was dispatched to an accident with injuries on I-95 northbound at the Highland Avenue exit. While Squad 23 was enroute, they were advised that the driver of the vehicle was experiencing Back pain. Squad 23 stabilized the vehicle, controlled leaking fluids and secured the battery. The squad was in service for approximately 30 minutes.

Hazmat Response at Villanova University Mendel Science's Building
FEBRUARY 12
- Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:30 pm Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to 800 E. Lancaster Ave. at Villanova University in the Mendel Sciences Building for a Hazmat incident as the result of a freshman chemistry lab experiment. Upon arrival it was found that a science class of approximately 50 people were exposed to chemical vapors and needed assistance.

Vehicle Rescue Early on December 2nd
DECEMBER 02
- On December 2nd and 2:44am Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Montgomery Avenue near Roberts Road. Early reports indicated a vehicle into a tree with the driver entrapped. Later information revealed a second vehicle involved with wires and a telephone pole down.
