Squad 23 is a 2005
E-One Rescue/Pumper, and is third to respond on most calls. The squad
holds 500 gallons of water, and has a Hale Q-Max pump rated at 1500 GPM.
The hose bed holds up to 1000' of 5" hose, 450' of 3" hose, and 250' of
2-1/2" hose. The squad has three pre-connects consisting of two 230'
1-3/4" speed lays and one 200' 1-3/4" trash line. The squad also has a
15,000 watt hydraulic generator, a Will-Burt light tower, five
pre-connect rescue tools, and a 12,000 pound winch.
